A rare barn find – only 190 Jensen Convertibles were made in 1974. This was sitting in a barn for 8 years since it was last on the road. Runs and drives, all fluids changed and everything is working. Some final tuning and minor tweaks and this will be road ready. Let us know if you’re interested.
Our Former Glory Racing crew had a blast supporting Andrew Moore in his 1965 MGB Roadster #50 at the SVRA Sebring Speed Tour in February. Andrew was fourth overall in Race 1, second in Group 3 and was first place in his class. Taz Squire, Andrew Moore (center) and Breck Holladay pictured below.
If you want to watch some of the race – check out the video below. The Vintage race start is at 1:10:10 in the video:
By the way – we saw that Lime Rock Park has an action shot of Andrew for their link to the SVRA section. Probably because the car just looks so dang good!
We’ve been hard at work getting our 1975 MGB vintage race ready. We found this car last year when we were looking for a motor and it had a pretty nice rust free body. We’ve been busy rebuilding a motor with a block and crank from Taz’s first ‘street legal’ car he drove back in the late 70s. It’s going to be cleaned up and re-painted blue. We’ll back-date it from 75-65 to a chrome bumper style minus the bumpers of course.
